# Tactics Board View Privacy Policy

Tactics Board View is developed by Bankside Works LLC. This policy explains what information the app uses, what stays on your device, what may sync through Apple services, and how to contact us.
## Summary
Tactics Board View is designed to keep your tactics data private.
We do not sell your data.
We do not use advertising trackers.
We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.
We do not collect your boards, rosters, player photos, drawings, set pieces, or remote-control sessions on Bankside Works servers.
Most data you create in the app stays on your device. If you use iCloud features, your data may sync through Apple’s iCloud/CloudKit services under your Apple account.
## Information You Create in the App
You may create or import information such as:
– Tactics boards and set pieces
– Team and roster names
– Player names, numbers, and positions
– Player photos, team logos, and pitch images
– Drawings, labels, shapes, arrows, and annotations
– App preferences and saved layouts
This information is stored locally on your device and, where iCloud features are enabled, may be stored in your private iCloud account through Apple’s services.
Bankside Works does not receive or store this content unless you choose to send it to us, for example in a support request.
## Photos and Camera
Tactics Board View may ask for access to:
– **Photos**, when you choose to import images or save exported board images.
– **Camera**, when you choose to scan a QR code for Remote Control pairing.
The app only uses these permissions for features you start yourself. Imported images remain in the app’s local storage and/or your iCloud account if sync is enabled.
## Remote Control and Local Network
Tactics Board View includes Remote Control features that let an iPad or Mac control a board being presented from another Mac or iPad.
Remote Control uses your local network to connect nearby devices. Board video, control input, drawing input, and session messages are transmitted directly between your devices on the local network. These sessions are not routed through Bankside Works servers.
The app may ask for local network permission so nearby devices can discover and connect to each other.
## Purchases
Tactics Board View uses Apple’s App Store and StoreKit systems for purchases, trials, unlocks, and restore purchases.
Bankside Works does not receive your full payment card information. Purchase processing is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy and payment policies.
The app may store purchase or trial state locally on your device, including in secure system storage such as Keychain.
## iCloud
If iCloud features are enabled, your app data may sync using Apple iCloud/CloudKit. This data is associated with your Apple account and is handled by Apple’s services.
Bankside Works does not operate a separate cloud server for your boards, rosters, player photos, set pieces, or remote-control sessions.
## Support Communications
If you contact us for support, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, screenshots, app details, crash descriptions, or sample files.
We use support information only to respond to you, troubleshoot issues, improve the app, and maintain our records.
## Website Data
If you visit the Bankside Works website, our website host may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and timestamps. This website data is separate from the content you create inside Tactics Board View.
## Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information only when necessary with:
– Apple, for App Store purchases, iCloud, crash reporting, and platform services.
– Service providers that help operate our website or email support.
– Legal authorities if required by law.
## Data Retention
App data stored on your device remains there until you delete it, reset app data, uninstall the app, or remove it from iCloud.
Support emails and related communications may be retained as needed to provide support, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
## Children’s Privacy
Tactics Board View is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through support or another channel, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
## Security
We use Apple platform security features where appropriate, including local device storage, Keychain, sandboxing, iCloud/CloudKit, and encrypted Apple networking technologies.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we design the app to minimize collection and keep user-created tactics content under your control.
## Your Choices
You can:
– Delete local app data from within the app where available.
– Remove the app from your device.
– Manage iCloud data through Apple iCloud settings.
– Restore purchases through the App Store.
– Contact us to request deletion of support communications you previously sent to us.
## Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
